Curiosity about foreign cultures led me on a journey
through over 20 countries. This included living in a van
for 3 months in the
United-States,
challenging myself with a 10-days silent meditation
retreat in Nepal, and
hiking through the snow of
Iceland, as well as
along Japan's
Nakasendo historic trail.
From violin to
shamisen, I've owned
13 mainly string instruments over the years. I mostly
play Post-hardcore and Metalcore on my
electric guitar,
though I also enjoy exploring folk music with a Turkish
baglama.
One of my favorite ways to spend an evening is with a
controller in hand. I've played countless video games,
unlocking numerous Steam achievements along the way. My
favorite genres include
RPGs, immersive sims,
and RTS, while I
particularly love
The Witcher,
Red Dead Redemption,
and
The Elder Scrolls
series.
Board games are an excellent way to meet new people. I
often organized dedicated board game nights with
colleagues, and I am particularly excited about
extending this tradition and making new friends.
